In an effort to finish our Family Home Evening packets we started this summer, we will have a gathering next Thursday, September 12th at 10:00 AM. We will be meeting at Meghan Staples' home. If you have little ones, please feel free to bring them along!
To help us reach our goal, we would ask each of you to submit your own FHE packet. This can be a favorite lesson you have, one you've found online, or in the Church's FHE manual. Whatever it may be, we ask that you include the following:
1) Provide a printed out copy of the lesson, text, story, etc.
2) Prepare all necessary visuals (on card stock if possible, cut out, colored and ready to use)
3) Prepare instructions and materials for any game/activity used (for example, any visuals, game parts, etc)
4) Provide 2 copies of the songs used.
Also, it would be helpful to label approximate age level the lesson is intended for. (Adult, Youth, Primary age)
Please give your lesson to a member of the Relief Society Presidency by Sunday, September 29th.
We are excited for this opportunity for each of us to serve and help each other foster quality Home Evenings here in our ward. This will be a great service project as well as a wonderful resource for all of us to use.
