Relief Society Lesson 4/14

I hope you all were able to listen to General Conference last weekend.  If not or if you would like to review it, click on the link and you can watch, read or just listen to all of the conference for April 2013.  You don't even have to wait until the next issue of The Ensign comes out! :)

This week's lesson was given by Heidi Boyles.  The lesson was from the Lorenzo Snow manual, Chapter 6, "Becoming Perfect before the Lord: 'A Little Better Day by Day'".  Click for a link to the lesson.  A few thoughts from the lesson:

1. With diligence, patience, and divine aid, we can obey the Lord’s command to be perfect.
2. When we comply with a requirement from the Lord, we are perfect in that sphere.
3. Rather than become discouraged when we fail, we can repent and ask God for strength to do better.
4. With divine help, we can live above the follies and vanities of the world.

5. We cannot become perfect at once, but we can be a little better day by day.

   
   

   "Do not expect to become perfect at once. If you do, you will be disappointed. Be better today than you were yesterday, and be better tomorrow than you are today."
