Rummage Sales This Weekend

There are a bunch of Rummage sales going on this weekend.  For those interested, thank Heidi Boyles for this info...

- One of the Presbyterian churches at 6031 Chapel Hill Road, Mequon, off Highland near MATC North is holding a huge rummage sale to help fund mission trips for their teens.

- Brookfield has their rummage days sale at Wirth Park and the neighboring neighborhoods have rummage sales too.

- Right next to us is another neighborhood sale in Aberdeen.

- This link is for a girl I used to go to high school with that is selling a lot of name brands like banana republic, j crew, Ralph Lauren, etc.

I always love a good deal and I thought some sisters may want to check it out with so many sales so close together and on the same day.  - Heidi

Since we're talking Rummage, don't forget My Sister's Closet is coming up.  Here's the info:

Every year, the Milwaukee 1st Ward puts on an event called My Sister's Closet (free Rummage). Families go through their houses and closets and donate any unwanted items to the My Sister's Closet Activity. And then come to the free rummage and take what they want. We are inviting you to participate if you would like!

The activity is May 10th, 9:00 am to 12pm. This year we are making this activity into a huge missionary opportunity by inviting the community and asking members to invite their friends to come! We will have four sets of missionaries there, waiting to answer any questions! Our ward has put on this activity for 7 years. And every year it has been very successful and has been a blessing in a lot of people's lives. We are in need of any unwanted items you may have! Basically, anything you would have at a rummage or give to Goodwill. So if you know anyone that is having a rummage or will be donating any items to Goodwill, we would be grateful to take it off of their hands instead! We have also invited the Meta house to come to the activity this activity. If you have items that you would be willing to donate, we have two ways to drop off items. On May 9th, you can drop your items off at the Milwaukee North Stake Building from 5:00pm to 8:00pm

For other drop off locations, please check your email.
