Ward Cookbook

Hello Everyone!

As some of you heard at tonight's RS activity, we are going to make a cook book with our "tried and true" recipes! These could be the spinach dip you bring to every party that people are dying to know what's in it or perhaps that sneaky recipe that tastes like 1000 calories but is actually fat free- you get the idea, a recipe that is a favorite go-to food. Men and women can all participate! Sorry kids, you'll need a few more years. 

It will likely cost $5-6/person for the spiral-bound 6"x9" book. It depends on how many are ordering and how many recipes are included. 

There are 4 categories:

1. Appetizers
2. Main Dish (anything you eat for a main meal any time of day. Salads included!)
3. Desserts
4. Breads (muffins, rolls, loaves, etc)

If you would like to participate, you can submit up to two recipes per category. 

To submit a recipe, email parkwaycooks@gmail.com - avoid any special formatting and no attachments. This will simplify putting it all together. Also, it would be extremely helpful if you used these  abbreviations:

c. = cup
tsp. = teaspoon
tbs. = tablespoon

Don't forget to list important info like baking time or oven/range temperature. Directions in a numbered format would also be awesome! (ex. 1. Preheat to 350 2. Mix everything 3. Pour into 8x8 pan 4. Bake for 18-20 min 5. Eat up!)

Lastly, please add in your comments!! We would love your thoughts- "this can be made vegetarian by omitting the chicken for tofu- I always bake this on Sundays!" or "this is grandma's recipe from 1869 and we have been making it every Christmas since." 

Deadline to submit is MARCH 1st. Please participate! We want your recipes!
